Yeah I basically start with a loose sketch that looks nothing like the final piece.

And then I start cleaning it up and move things around to make it look better.

And then I add base colours some shading and then the best part, just polish it for as long as I feel like it. I don't know if this was helpful haha.

[Project "WITH NO LIGHT"]

This looks real interesting. So how would've this played like? I imagine it being something like Hollow Knight.

Pretty much Hollow Knight was the main inspiration for the project but we wanted to expand more on the combat mechanics with more varied fighting styles and abilities being the core.

[Christmas Kirby]

Well drawn and adorable. It captures the spirit of Kirby really well and I like the line work. I think the Kirby could've used a little Santa hat or more Christmas colors to complete the holiday spirit. Keep up the good work.

[Somewhere Else]

So moody, so atmospheric. The texture work is real good and there is so much going on without feeling too busy or cluttered. It really draws me in. Is a colored version of this possible?

Thanks for the kind words. A colored version is possible, but I more than likely will never get to doing one. I've spent too much time with this piece to want to go back to it. However I do this type of subject matter a lot, and have done drawings like this in color before so, I guess stay tuned!

Colorful, dynamic, and a mashup of lots of cool stuff. Only thing I'd say is Sidon being so close to the foreground but without proper linework makes him stick out awkwardly, but he's well drawn and painted otherwise. Keep up the good work, champ.

Thank you so much! I myself was kinda weirded out by the final product of Sidon. But in my defense, I was trying to get the lineless look in the game. Thank you so much anyways!
